Taking the Debtor Education Class

A "Must Do"

Federal law requires that you complete a “Debtor’s Education Class” sometime after your bankruptcy is filed and before your discharge can be granted.

This class must be held by an approved agency which, upon your completion, will issue a certification to be filed with the bankruptcy court trustee. Which class you take depends on whether you filed a Chapter 13 case or a Chapter 7 case. We have listed both below.
